The Zelienople-Harmony Business Association is celebrating the 45th annual Horse Trading Days Crafts & Music Festival from July 17-19, 2008. Most events will take place between 10 AM to 7 PM.
The first Horse Trading Days festival was introduced in 1963 by Ron Roach, Jim Cleaver, Franklin Health and Donald Waltman as a way of promoting the Harmony and Zelienople areas.
The event, now celebrating its 45th year, has grown to one of the largest in the area and welcomes as many as 40,000 guests each year. We encourage you to tour the historic sites, enjoy the free concerts, explore our unique stores, and dine at our fine restaurants and cafes.
Horse Trading Days is an annual event of the Zelienople-Harmony Business Association and is made possible through the support of local residents, businesses, police and fire police, Zelienople Borough, and many more.

Horse Trading Days is trying to return to its “old-fashioned roots.” In doing so, free wooden nickels will once again will be distributed to the public, redeemable for discounts at participating merchants. Look for “We Take Wooden Nickels” signs in shop windows, and a listing of merchants in the program book.
We need volunteers to help us set things up, so if you enjoy making other people happy...
