The event, now celebrating its 48th year, has grown to one of the largest in the area and welcomes as many as 40,000 guests each year. We encourage you to tour the historic sites, enjoy the free concerts, explore our unique stores, and dine at our fine restaurants and cafes.
How did it all start? The first Horse Trading Days festival was introduced in 1963 by Ron Roach, Jim Cleaver, Franklin Health and Donald Waltman as a way of promoting the Harmony and Zelienople areas. | New this year Children's Activity Center Featuring a petting zoo, pony rides, bubble bounce & climbing wall. Stop at the Information Booth in the Crafts Market and receive a wooden nickel redeemable for discounts and freebies at participating stores. Look for “We Take Wooden Nickels” signs in shop windows, or a listing of merchants in the program book. They make great “take home” souvenirs as well! |
